Plym Estuary

A great day with Martin's Red-necked Grebe (in partial summer plumage) still around, initially at the top of the estuary, then at the lower end after being flushed by a speed boat. Three Garganey (2 drakes) appeared on the estuary opposite the railway sidings, flew up river and then later in the day, were resting on the mud slightly further up - thanks Roy! Also a Fieldfare (rare here even in winter, outside snowy conditions), Snipe, Red-breasted Merganser (drake), Goosander (redhead), Swallow belting north and Green Woodpecker.
