Exminster Marsh

A short eared owl this morning flushed from trees at the picnic area along the back path and flying onto the marsh where it looked most disgruntled. It then flew back to the trees before flying off again, this time gaining height and heading over the railway line towards Powderham Marsh.

Also good views of reed warblers and sedge warblers busily singing away.4 house martins with the swallows, blackcap and chiffchaff also seen.
