South Milton and Aveton Gifford

Not a huge amount out there first thing this morning, or at least not where I went, the Iceland Gull was showing well in the sheep field behind the cafe at South Huish as was a Stonechat, Reed Bunting, Rock Pips and a single Swallow overhead.

Aveton Gifford had Greenshank and Common Sandpiper on the tidal road and the marsh had a reasonable selection of smaller species inc Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, Bullfinch, Sand Martins, Dunnock, Long Tailed Tit, Wren. Yellow Hammer on the roadside hedges above the village.
