Trendlebere ~ Yarner ~ Dartmoor

Earlyish morning visit to Trendlebere Down with Keith this morning gave Swallow, Yellow Hammer, Linnet, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Dunnock, Goldfinch, GSWP and Siskin.

 

In Yarner wood itself lots of Woodpecker activity, male Redstart and Pied Flycatcher, Wren, Raven, Mistle Thrush and Goldcrest.

Coming back home over the moors above Ashburton gave plenty of Skylark, Meadow Pipits, Stonechat, a female Kestrel, Linnets, Willow Warbler and Greenfinch.

14.15hrs Peregrine non adult plumage incredibly high over the house with an avian prey item which it was happily plucking.
