Berry Head

Now, I know that escaped birds are contentious for some, but I love all birdlife, so I was 'pheasantly' surprised when the female Reeves Pheasant that Mike found sauntered across the quarry road at Berry Head. She perched in a tree long enough for some photos and then sauntered back up the road. There were also a total of 5 Wheatear in and around the quarry and the fort, plus a lovely Wall Brown butterfly. Glad to see the cowslips and common dog violets starting the flower in the quarry.
