Weston Cliffs (East Devon).

12 members of DB attended the fieldtrip from Weston village taking in the woodland and fields above the cliffs.

27 species were counted for the morning with many Chiffchaff, Blackcap and Song Thrush in song.  A Swallow was quickly found together with nesting Blue Tits.  A fine male Bullfinch was present and a Green Woodpecker heard in the valley. 2-3 Buzzards were overhead plus Raven. A single Willow Warbler was heard at a distance and 3 Yellow Hammer and a Skylark found on the walk back though the lanes.
