Braunton

What did I say yesterday about Sand Martins? Somewhat surprised this morning to see none over Wrafton Pond, the scrape, the surrounding fields or down the Toll Road where I took a look over the new flooded area: quite a few Teal and several Redshank, with one Greenshank.

Best of the morning was a single Reed Warbler in reeds in the drainage ditch beside the Toll Road.

In the reserve Chiffchaff and Blackcap singing, plus at least one Willow Warbler.
