Braunton

Wrafton Pond continues to host good numbers of Sand Martins and the odd Swallow.  Also a few Chiffs and a Willow Warbler or two.

I walked down around Sherpa Marsh again this evening. The Swan herd (30) was in the middle of the central field. Only a few Teal, and the remains of what looked like a Gadwall. There seemed to be a few more Swallows this evening.

However I was finally rewarded as I neared home when I spied a few Hirundines over the north end on the recreation ground. Closer inspection revealed 4 House Martins.
