Thurlestone Bay

After a stop-off at Huxtons Cross, birds of note were a pair of Yellowhammer on the hedge and 2 Red Legged Partridge in the ploughed field on the left. Then down to South Huish where we found the Male Garganey on the marsh and the Iceland Gull in the field behind the marsh. A lone Stock Dove was foraging around the edge of the marsh and a lovely male Swallow was perched on a wire, singing.  41 species in total for us today and an interesting chat with local birders Bob, Chris and Perry.
