Wrafton area

Ringing in the reserve this morning produced a further 9 Willow Warblers, 7 Chiffchaffs and the first two Blackcaps of the spring.

Late afternoon walk to Sherpa: 2 Common Sandpipers on the Pill. Loads of Sand Martins and several Swallows from Wrafton Pond all the way to the marsh. Also another female Marsh Harrier which was chased off towards the estuary by a Herring Gull. Different bird to yesterday - this one had a complete tail!
