Start Point

Beautiful bright and sunny spring morning. Light NE wind. Arrived just before 08:00 and stopped in the road to check the farm. Saw a Red Kite heading towards the point and drove around to the car park for a better view. Surprised to see it join another bird here and with corvids in attendance they disappeared in a south-south westerly direction. In the farm itself around a dozen each of Chiffchaff and Willow Warbler with a single Goldcrest. 4 Wheatears on the road near the lighthouse and another singing from a building inside the compound. Only hirundines were 5 Swallows and 2 Sand Martins.
