Northam Burrows. 06:30 - 08:30

Around the tip pond - 2 Yellow Wagtail; 1 Common Sandpiper; 11 White Wagtail and 8 Shelduck.

A search around the area of Green No.9 revealed 24 Wheatear; 3 Whimbrel overhead; 3 Sedge Warbler; 4 Stonechat (2 pair) and 2 Common Whitethroat. Also spotted while searching with a scope, was a Gannet offshore.

No sign of the Collared Pratincole until 07:23 when a dog walker put it up from somewhere between Greens 9 and 10. It flew quite low towards the tip pond but by 08:30 it was not relocated. Quite a few other birders arrived and resumed the search as I left.
