Visited Exminster with Bill Macdonald, the Hobby was in view  several times early afternoon and during drizzle a Swift flew through with several dozen mixed hirundines. A Wheatear was feeding in the middle of the marsh. After a relatively uneventful visit to Bowling Green we checked the Teign at Passage House , where a Little Ringed Plover and 2 Common Sandpipers were feeding on the central mudbank about 6pm.
