At first light, there was a Common Sandpiper and 4 Dunlin on the pool at the Skern and during the morning there were 2-3 Grasshopper Warblers reeling to the south of the pool, 3 Sedge Warblers, 3 Whitethroats, a steady passage of Swallows and c6 Wheatear but no sign of the Collared Pratincole.

As detailed below, the Collared Pratincole re-appeared for about 20 minutes around midday and then luckily re-appeared again on the golf course, on the far side of the pool from c1.55pm until it flew up high at 2.20pm calling as it went overhead, and flew high upriver towards Instow where it was lost to view.. Also this afternoon, a Whimbrel, Bar-Tailed Godwit, Ringed Plover and 2 Dunlin on the pool, c6 Wheatear still and a Grasshopper Warbler still reeling and showing on and off.
