Starcross Osprey

At just after noon, I looked up from my desk to see an Osprey flying over my house just behind Painters Wood on the outskirts of Starcross. Grabbing binoculars I rushed into the garden and watched it flap steadily at an altitude of about 100 m, and then higher, initially in a southwesterly direction, then veering slightly more westward and soaring higher and higher until lost from view. Initially, it appeared to have an object (a fish?) in its talons, but then it didn't so it may have been its bunched feet hanging down briefly.
