I cycled from Barnstaple to Braunton this morning, one Common Sandpiper, one Black-tailed Godwit and three Whimbrel. One each of Sedge Warbler, Chiff and Blackcap the only singing Warblers. 2 Gadwall flying determinedly east past Ashford sewage works. Nothing of note in Bradiford reserve.

Velator reserve had a few House Martins over, good numbers of Swallows and a lone Swift. A dozen White Wagtails on the wet field.

Sue Bruce saw Lesser Whitethroat at the end of the boardwalk at Crow Point yesterday.
