Exminster marsh and bowling green marsh

A frustrating morning having to be in Taunton as texts came in of the great white egret on exminster marsh ( thanks guys for all the info) finally got to the marsh at 16:20 first bird was a hobby over head at the railway bridge followed by 2 grasshopper warblers by the rspb car park and a lesser redpoll , 2 willow warblers and severall sedge warblers but no sign of the great white egret, after receiving info walked back to the railway bridge with keith Annison and got distant views of the great white egret on powderham marsh.

A quick look in bowling green marsh from 18:10 till 18:45, the summer plumage spotted redshank again on far side from the hide, 14+ greenshanks, 2 avocet , now 6 little grebes, 1m wheatear, 5+ whimbrel, 1 common sandpiper, 4 tufted duck(3m,1f), still good numbers of black tailed godwits with a few bar tailed godwits, 80+ redshanks, 5 wigeon , on walk back to topsham from the hide, 7+ blackcap and 2 whitethroats.
