Exminster Marshes, 6pm to 7pm

The Blue-headed Wagtail was feeding with four Yellows around the lagoons, togther with a single Little Ringed Plover.

A flock of ~26 Whimbrels flew up the river valley; a fine sight and sound in the evening sunshine. I heard a second flock later on but never saw them; they may well have been above the scattered low cloud.

At least 20 Swift and a good collection of hirundines of three species
