from the goat walk the 1st summer little gull showed well also 12+ ringed plover and 2 1st summer med gulls, 5 whimbrel whilst watching the estuary a cuckoo called from behind goat walk towards bowling green marsh but was unable to relocate. 

From the viewing platform at bowling green marsh the female long tailed duck was in middle of the estuary, a little grebe to the right of the platform , 6 grey plover, sparrowhawk over, severall blackcaps, 6 great crested grebes down river . 

From the hide, a stunning full summer spotted redshank was on the far side, with 12 greenshanks, 19+ bar tailed godwits, 12+ whimbrel, 6+ little egrets, 10+ house martins, 2 willow warblers, 150+ black tailed godwits, 4+ dunlin, 70+ shelduck.
