Prawle catch-up, 19 - 23/04

Generally very quiet migrant-wise during this period, but made up for by a decent few hours on Sunday (21st). At 11.55, 2 Red Kites flew east, and at 13.35, a male Golden Oriole flew from the East Prawle direction across the top of the airfields towards Pigs Nose Valley. Whimbrels peaked at 20, Wheatear at 6, Whitethroat 13, Blackcap 6, Willow Warbler 20 and Chiffchaff 16. Still low numbers of Swallows and House Martins, while other migrants were limited to just 2 Sedge Warblers and singles of Whinchat, Redstart and Yellow Wagtail.
