Coleton Fishacre

An otherwise unproductive walk around Froward Points threw up a surprise Merlin in fine nick besides the path at Outer Froward. The only other bird of note on the cliffs was a Goldcrest on the gorse bushes.

A flock of 6 Cirl Buntings and a lonely Skylark bravely doing his thing in the wind were in the freshly manured field below the daymark.

An immaculate Yellowhammer and pair of Stonechats were at Brownstone Farm.

Although there were 2 fields being ploughed no birds were following either one
