Bowling Green Marsh

Finally caught up with the American Wigeon today at 2.40pm from the hide . All the Wigeon were very wary. Had thought it was just the presence of 2 Common Buzzards when at 3.20 pm a Red Kite flew east over the marsh. A nice bonus. Also a female Brambling near the bird feeders by the hide. Bitterly cold and no hirundines. Can you blame them ?
