Heddons mouth to woody bay and back

Morning walk towards woody bay and back, from the cliff tops saw many species of gull scouring the cliffs and stonechat amongst the heather, and razor bills on the water in small groups. Walking back towards hunters Inn I disturbed a snipe in the woodland.  There were many blue and great tits amongst the trees and down by the rivers edge a pair of grey wagtail.

Back up on top the Moor courting skylarks were gracing the sky.  Is spring really here?
