This evening locally. No migrants anywhere! Black-tailed Godwit on the scrape again. A Coot and 2 Little Grebes on the reserve pond.

Then I walked around Sherpa Marsh, where the female Marsh Harrier was in the reed-bed just opposite the Toll House. It seemed to be stuck, but with some furious flapping eventually freed itself to fly off, circling around and landing in the big Macrocarpus IN the SW corner of the reserve! So finally a Marsh Harrier seen in the reserve. Also a Great Black-backed Gull flew north over the  reserve and 2 Grey Wagtails nearby.

April tomorrow, let's hope it gets a good deal warmer quite soon! I'm fed up with all this cold and rain.
