Plymouth Hoe

Plenty of evidence of hard weather movements on the Hoe this afternoon, with Redwings everywhere (at least 500 seen) Fieldfares (40), Lapwing (40), Golden Plover (6), Skylark (5), a Cirl Bunting above the ‘Welcome to Plymouth’ bank, a Yellowhammer on the rocks at Rusty Anchor and a Stonechat in West Hoe Park.  The area around the Citadel and West Hoe Park both seemed especially busy.  On the grass in West Hoe Park alone, 10 Lapwings, 3 Golden Plover, 100 Redwings and 10 Meadow Pipits.
