Matford and Exminster

At Matford Pool, the Ridgeway's Cackling Goose was still accompanying a pair of Mallard (rather than the two pairs of Canada Geese on the other side of the pool!). Also 2 Shoveler, 6 Tufted and a couple of Stock Doves in the dead trees. Seemed like more people than birds around Exminster Marshes, but did manage to see a Water Rail near the railway car park.
