Rillage Point to Watermouth

06.20 to 09.00; clear, sunny, NW3: 18 Swallows (first of year here) heading NW in small groups of up to 6 but not a sniff of a Sand Martin. Calls gave away a strong overhead passage of Meadow Pipits, but with light winds and clear skies most were flying too high to see and my count of 41 is inevitably a huge underestimate. Also 11 alba wagtails and small numbers of Linnets, Goldfinches and Siskins.
