Prawle and Slapton

Seawatch at Prawle Point in South-Westerly 4 going 5 from 8am till 1 pm. 55 Manx Shearwaters west ( interestingly 3 groups of 5)  plus 6 Divers east : 3 Black-Throated and 2 Red- Throated plus 1 unidentified .

At 2pm from Torcross end of Slapton Ley I saw 4 Sand Martins - my first this year- in breezy drizzly conditions.

Excellent talk by Mark Avery last night at the Devon Birds AGM : learnt lots about why birders should be opposed to ground- driven grouse shooting on moors. Must sign the e-government  petition.
