Bowling Green Marsh

A quick look around the Marsh just after high tide this morning produced the normal inhabitants with 18 Pintail, 8 Avocets, Still good numbers of Blacktail Godwits with many turning to their summer plumage, Widgeon and Teal in depleted numbers and a Ruff showing well to the left of the hide and 3 Snipe to the right of the hide. Martock birder reported several Sand Martins came over the Marsh around 09:00.
