Stover & Hay Tor

Stover Country Park was only on tick over as far as birding went this morning, that said two female Goosander and two Great Crested Grebe on the lake, the pair of Mandarins were tucked away under the bank on one of the back waters.

Around the feeders very slow but Marsh Tit, a pair of Greater Spotted Woodpeckers coming onto the sunflower feeder, Nuthatch, pair of Bullfinch and my first sighting of Greenfinch on site.

At Hay Tor good numbers of Sky Larks and Meadow Pipits, a few Stonechat one male was chasing of any other small bird landing in a specific area. A couple of Raven seen flying over.
