Velator

I've been having a blitz on the festering duck-weed on the pond recently, aided by  the west wind pushing it all up to one end of the pond. There's now heaps of it drying out...

The reward this morning was hearing and then seeing the first Little Grebe in the reserve for well over a year. I hope to get more of it out before the breeding season really gets under way, but Mallard, Coot and Canada Geese are all prospecting.
