Exminster Marshes

Black-necked Grebe on the central pond. Two Siberian Chiffchaffs in the hedge along the canal about 100m south of the car park, at a place where the canal embankment has recently been scraped and de-vegetated. The birds' calls were slightly flatter and less melodic than a 'collybita' Chiffchaff, of which there were about six others scattered along the hedges and lanes for comparison.
