Bowling green marsh

Watched from 09:30 till 13:00

the female hen harrier flew over the marsh at 10:15 before going down to the River clyst, a Little ringed plover showed very well to the left of the hide and the curlew sandpiper was elusive in with 400+ dunlin, 32 avocet, 100+ bar tailed godwits, similar numbers of redshank and black tailed godwits, 1 greenshank, 3 pintail, 95+ wigeon, 2+ reed bunting, buzzard, 1 sandwich tern dropped in briefley, 20+ chiffchaffs, 4 little grebes, 1 snipe, 2 little egrets.

From the viewing platform a near full summer plumage slavonian grebe was in close with 4+ red breasted mergansers, 2 greenshanks and 33+ grey plover.
