Exeter (Redhayes) and Cranbrook

Thought I would explore the bushes at Redhayes, Exeter which are on the east side of the M5 at the 'Blue Bridge' and found a Firecrest, several Chiffchaff and a Blackcap.  (Redhayes was a mansion long since demolished but the overgrown gardens remain.  The area is owned by DCC but accessible 'at your own risk' and it is now possible to park locally on the old A30 and walk in, although the footpath is partially blocked off by fencing).

Carried on to new town of Cranbrook where I parked outside the Younghayes Centre and immediately found a female type Black Redstart on its roof where it stayed briefly before flying off beyond the new school of St Mary's.  A Raven present in the tall pine tree of the school and two Redwing near the railway line.
