Mudbank/West Lodge - 0545 - an early morning dog walk along the cycle track was unusually productive with 10+ chiffchaff, 20+ redwing, 4+ meadow pipit, 1 goldcrest, 2 siskin, 1 snipe, 1 jack snipe and 1 little ringed plover. Late this afternoon, off Mudbank, were 2 slavonian grebe, 12 ringed plover and 23+ common gull.

Yesterday there were 2 drake common scoter (unusual this far upriver), 6+ great crested grebe, 2+ slavonian grebe, 3 goldeneye, 33+ common gull and 10 ringed plover. A black redstart was in the dung field at the top of Gore Lane.
