Thurlestone Bay

Spoonbill's had split up this morning - ringed bird on T'stone Marsh ( not present at 13.00) and the other on South Huish Marsh until 11.30.

Main interest today was the fall of Chichaff - site spring record- 16 arounnd the marshes , however sunshine hatched some insects which resulted in a feeding frenzy at South Milton Ley- Bob B ringed 80 out of a total of 150+ on site, also a Willow Warbler and a male Blackcap .

At T'stone Marsh - 1 Black Redstart, 1 Water Pipit ( signs of s/p ) 1 Dunlin, 42 Teal, 1 Little Grebe.

On South Huish Marsh  this am - 5 LRP's , 2 Redshank, 1 Grey Plover, 1 Black T Godwit,  72 Teal, 3 Wigeon, 1 Brent Goose, my Wheatear total was 30 , 5 Curlew.

Offshore - 2 Great C Grebe, 1 Great N Diver, 24 Sandwich Tern ( 09.30 )
