Exminster Marshes

The male Merlin showed well, if distantly, this morning. The usual poor photo, I know, but it does give me an excuse to post some news of the recent wing-tagged Marsh Harrier. I've just heard from Phil Littler of the North West Norfolk Ringing Group that this bird - AC - was ringed and tagged as a pullus at Sculthorpe Moor, Norfolk, 10th June 2011; it was sexed as a male on leg measurements. This was the first subsequent sighting.
