Thurlestone Bay

Another very wet day , both marshes now flooded.

In a 3hr seawatch this morning - 24 Sandwich Tern, 21 Common Scoter, 2 Teal, 45 Gannet, all flying east. In the first 2 hrs a total of 252 Meadow Pipit moving NE . Passage in off the sea and up the valley - 46 Lesser B B Gull  2 ad Med Gull, 1 Little Ringed Plover.

On the sea 2 Great Crested Grebe and a Red Throated Diver

On South Huish Marsh - 7 Teal, 1 Snipe, 60+ Meadow Pipit, 60 Lesser B B Gull, 1 Chiffchaff, 4 male Wheatear, 1 Sand Martin

On T'stone Marsh - 10 Teal, 4 Shoveler, 1 Water Pipit, 4 Sand Martin
