Cold windy circular walk from Otterton - Monks Wall - Brandy Head - Stantyway - Otterton. A "bird wave" near the football club comprising all the common tits and finches. Fulmar off the cliffs but nothing on the rough sea. Peregrine flying up and down the coast and an odd looking bird of prey low down over ploughed coastal field battling the wind - ?? Goshawk (but probably just a buzzard !). Fields around Stantyway busy with Cirl Bunting, Chaffinch, Goldfinch, Brambling, Siskin and (?Meadow) Pipits. Also a flock of Fieldfare with a few Redwing and a Song thrush.
