Newnham Meadows to Newnham Park

Yesterday mid-afternoon, no Firecrests but Goldcrest female in the meadows and an orange crested male on the Tory Brook. Loads of finches including Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Siskin, Bullfinch and Greenfinch in descending order of number.  What seemed unusual was a flock of 30 or 40 Meadow Pipit in the tree-tops at Holly Wood moving over into the park still in the trees and not down into the sheep field. At the same time were a few Redwing.
