Crownhill Down to Lee Moor

A cold and windy walk over a near birdless Crownhill Down gave only singles of male Reed Bunting, Skylark, Stonechat, Wren and Mistle Thrush.  In Lower Lee Moor Wood all the usual tits with Nuthatch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Kestrel and a dozen plus Redwing. 7nr Fallow hinds.  On Portworthy Ph3 dam 4 Teal and 4 Coot, but no sign of yesterday's 7nr Tufted Duck.
