Braunton

I thought fat-balls were good for something different, and today a male Blackcap arrived to prove me right. Unfortunately the aggressive local Robin was soon on hand to send him packing... In the reserve, the first Treecreeper of the year, and a Lapwing in the adjoining field to the south. Good numbers of Green and Goldfinch unusually perched and staying put when I raised the bins! 2 GSW, 1 Redwing, and a Raven on the way home.
