Hawfinch at Yennadon Down, near Yelverton

A surprise female HAWFINCH on Yennadon Down today at 1530. It was low in the hawthorns, keeping out of the wind, about 100m along the stone wall up the hill from the car park at Yennadon Down. This was my first ever in West Devon and, added to the one in Topsham Cemetery on Saturday, gave me my second sighting in 5 days...I've never managed that before! Also, a female BRAMBLING in my Dousland garden today.
