Cycled back to Brauntion from Croyde this afternoon and detoured across Braunton Marsh and the great field. Found a huge flock of several hundred Chaffinch, but unable to find a Brambling among them. Didn't find the Goose, nor any Owls, but as I looked across at Sherpa Marsh, perched on a small bush in the reed-bed was a (or the?) female Marsh Harrier. This was at about 4.20.
