Coleton Fishacre

A quick walk to the front and back via Coleton Farm this afternoon really illustrated the problems for seabirds.  The water is still extremely dirty so vision feeders such as auks and cormorants were conspicuous in their absence. As a fisherman I cannot remember the water staying so dirty for so long. The cliffs were blown out with only a pair of Stonechat above Kelly Cove. The only blessing on the day was a flock of 14 Yellowhammer roosting at the sheds in the farm.
