A quick walk with the dog this morning to view the effects of the gales and rain. Result is that the lakes are bigger but little damage to the beach outlet itself. Similar to Perrys notes on Slapton  a noticable lack of any gulls whatsoever on the outlet and only 1 Cormorant in the bay. There are 3 Gadwall amongst the Teal, Coot and Moorhen but no sign of any Snipe. Also the marsh Stonechats seemed to have disappeared  but 2 Goldcrest showed well at the hide.
