Hope's Nose

An afternoon walk down to the sewer produced no little gulls today, with the flock consisting of black headed, common and kittiwake. Around the point and in the cove were 10 great northern divers and a female eider, both species close off the rocks. Just before sunset 9 of the divers went into the cove to roost in a tight flock - a great sight.
