Slapton Ley/Offshore

1100-1245. 3 Velvet Scoter off middle car park early on - not too far out. On walk towards Torcross, close-in Black-throated Diver, then a Black-necked Grebe very close in, and then a middle distance Gt Northern Diver. On Slapton Ley, midway from middle car park to Torcross, Long-tailed Duck (would say female), and then 1st winter Scaup. There was an interesting looking pipit flock on the beach. MMay off Beesands, raft of 30+ Common Scoter.
