Staverton WTW

The Yellow Browed Warbler still present this afternoon plus Firecrest, 2 Goldcrest and 5 Chiffchaff.

Anybody wanting to see Goosander fairly easily, Staverton Bridge late afternoon (around 3.30 p.m) is reliable at present albeit that there has only been a single redhead the past 3 days (but the river has been subject to disturbance by kayakers yesterday and today). Last week there was usually 3 birds and i have had up to 8. Kingfisher is regular along this stretch of river together with up to 3 Dippers and 3-4 Little Grebes.
