Slapton

In a very blustery Ireland Bay a Snipe and three Black-necked Grebes stood out from the crowd but the best sight was a very tight raft of about 20 ducks that included Shoveler, Mallard, Gadwall, Tufted and Wigeon, with right in the middle of it an even tighter group of 10 Little Grebe. Also there a 'scaup-type' female Tufted Duck but no sign of last week's Goldeneye and in the woodland three Goldcrest and a Firecrest.
